Huh? What? I've been what...??
Have you heard of this fun thing people are doing nowadays to friends, family, coworkers, neighbors...?
I love this idea of sharing kindness & fun to one another!! Have you ever been Boo'ed? Have you done the Boo'ing? Tips???
It seems like there are several different versions out there but the premise is the same... Get a container of some sort, fill it with goodies (bought or homemade), then print out a message & a "We've Been Boo'ed!" sign for them to put on their door, & then personalize to your liking & give away to a neighbor, friend, family, teacher, coworkers, etc.
I have seen kits now that are available to put together & add goodies to. Target, Amazon, Hobby Lobby, & Michaels Craft Store all seem to have a kit of some sort. This makes it easier, especially if you don't have a lot of time to pick up individual items to complete your own basket. It's fun to be able to personalize if you can & know the person or people that you will be giving these to.
I'm going to try to get something going & ready for the week before Halloween to do a few Boo'ed goodies. I am making little buckets for my coworkers, but I also am wanting to show the kids at home that it's nice to do something fun & nice for others, so we will be putting one together for a neighbor this year.
Then... just a note... after the holiday, be sure to get to your local stores for discounted items to be able to stock up on for next year!!
Be as creative & as "extra" as you want! Make it a fun family activity even! There are SO many items you can put in them too! Use your imagination. Maybe create a basket theme.
