There are a lot of benefits to drinking detox water like boosting the metabolism, boosting the immune system, promoting healthy glowing skin, can increase energy, can help regulate blood pressure & so much more!
Here are a few yummy recipes of my favorites for you to try out:
- Grapefruit Jalapeño: 1/4 grapefruit, sliced; 1/2 de-seeded jalapeño, chopped; 1 quart cold water - - Let this infuse & rest for 2 hours in the fridge
- Cucumber Lemon: 1/4 cucumber, sliced; 1/2 lemon, sliced; 1 quart cold water - - Let this infuse & rest for 2 hours in the fridge
- Grapefruit Lemon & Lime: 1/4 grapefruit, sliced; 1/2 lemon, sliced; 1/2 lime, sliced; 1 quart cold water - - Let this infuse & rest for 2 hours in the fridge
- Strawberry  Thyme: 6 chopped strawberries; 4 sprigs of fresh thyme; 1 quart cold water - - Let this infuse & rest for 2 hours in the fridge
- Cucumber Lemon Mint: 2 lemons, thinly sliced; 1/2 large cucumber, thinly sliced; 20 mint leaves; 2 Liters of fresh cold water - - Let this infuse overnight (8 hrs.) for best results
- Blueberry Orange: 2 mandarin oranges, cut into wedges; a heaping handful of blueberries; 1 1/2 quarts of cold water (can use some ice as well) - - Let this infuse at least 2 hours or overnight for better results; you may also want to squeeze in some mandarin juices & muddle some blueberries to intensify the flavor
- Vitamin Water: 2 cups watermelon, sliced into 1" cubes; 1 lime, sliced; 1 lemon, sliced; 1/2 red grapefruit, sliced & quartered; 1 medium cucumber, sliced; 12 mint leaves; 2 quarts of cold water (can use some ice as well) - - Let this infuse overnight
- Strawberry Basil: 1 cup strawberries, stem & quartered; 1 cup cucumber, sliced; 8 leaves fresh basil; 2 cups of ice; 1 Liter of water - - Let infuse for at least 2 hours
- Watermelon Cucumber: 2-3 cups watermelon; 1/2 English cucumber, sliced; 6-8 mint leaves; place 2 cups of ice with the other ingredients into a big pitcher of 1/2 gallon cold water - - Let infuse overnight
- Strawberry Lemon: 1 lemon, sliced into rings; 1 cup halved strawberries; 1 Liter cold water - - Let infuse overnight, or use a muddler to gently smoosh the fruits & then let it marinate for 2 hours in the fridge
