Complex trauma can only be healed within a safe, trusting, healthy, caring relationships, per experts. In this, it is the only way for the wounds of being abused & traumatised by people to fully heal.

Many survivors, including myself for awhile, have a fear of people & of trusting others.

Safe & Caring partners - many survivors do not have this

Safe & Caring families - many survivors do not have this

Adequate therapists & therapies - many survivors do not have this

And all of these things that are so pertinent to healing, many do not have in their lives for many reasons. So, while we can do many things to help improve our well-being, those wounds of fear & trust, fear of abandonment, fear of people, etc. - may not be fully healed.

I want to recognize this & validate it. Many people do not have the "best case scenario" for healing. And that makes this journey so much harder. It is necessary to talk about this & highlight this - for all those who relate to this.

This is, yet another reason why, journeys should NEVER be compared.

Love you all! Keep going!!
